Memory Strategies (How To Improve Our Memory)
1. Messed Practice Vs Spaced Practice
Messed Practice ( not good ) - cramming, involves studying all the materials at one time. Do not have time to understand, remember and organize the reading materials. The reason is because short term cannot contain many information at one time.
Spaced Practice ( good, recommended ) - involves space time over some period of time for studying, spaced practice or distributed practice allows time for the information to consolidate the long term memory. Taking breaks between learning sessions allow you to think and organize the information.
2. Break Reading Material Down
No cramming for some period of time e.g 2 chapter per day, not all chapters a day before the exam
3. Rehearsal
Make the activity and repeat the topic many times
4. Elaboration Strategies

UITM - Universiti Teknologi Mara
herbivores - plant
omnivores - animal and plant
